Standard Response:


1. Click the Apple Icon in the upper left corner and select System Preferences.

2. Locate the Java Icon at the bottom of the System Preferences window (the icon looks like a cup of coffee).

3. When the Java Control Panel opens up in a new window Click the ‘Security Tab’.

4. Select the desired Security level, Very High, High, or Medium (removed from Java 8 update 20 and later versions).

5. Click 'Apply'.

6. Click 'OK' to save changes made to the Java Control Panel.
