Specialist Notes:


After the user has put in the Java Security Exceptions, have them clear the Internet Explorer cache.  Please go to the Clear Cache section of the Master System Check and give them the proper information for their IE version.


Standard Response:


Please follow the instructions below to add web sites to the Java Exception Site List due to security restrictions.


1. Right Click the Window Menu Button or Icon located in the lower left corner of the screen

2. Select ‘Search’ from the context menu

3. When the search window appears type Java in the search box and select ‘Configure Java’

4. Java Control Panel window should appear, then select the 'Security Tab'

5. Click 'Edit Site List' under the 'Exception Site List'

6. Add your Learn Center's URL to the 'Exception Site List'

Please let us know if you need assistance with your web address/URL

7. Click 'ADD' - then Click ‘OK’ to Save and Close the window

8. You should see your web address that you entered in the Exception Site List Window

9. If you do then Click ‘OK’ to Close the window


Now, you will need to Clear Cache on Internet Explorer.
