Instructions to update Google Chrome. It is advisable to constantly update your Google Chrome browser to be up to date with the current versions. This helps to identify if a user needs to update Google Chrome. You can also google the most recent update and version. Updated instructions based on changes in Google Chrome Version 144.

Standard Response:

To verify if Chrome is on the most current version, kindly do the following:

1. In the top-right corner of the browser window, click on the ‘Customize and control Google Chrome’ button -- 3 vertical dots ( ⋮ ).

2. Click on 'Help', then 'About Google Chrome'.

3. If Chrome is up to date, the current version number will be listed below 'Google Chrome'.

4. If it isn't up-to-date, it will automatically start the update.

5. Once the update is complete, you will need to click on Relaunch.
