Short for web browser, a browser is a software application used to locate, retrieve, and display content on the World Wide Web (internet), including webpages, images, video and other files. There are different browsers currently used today. Examples of browsers are: Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari (found on Apple devices), or Microsoft Edge (found on Windows 10).
